open to the public

Level 10 NSWC isn't just for Winter Club members though, non-members are welcome to train with Level 10 at the NSWC anytime. Trainers are available from 6 am - 9pm Monday through Friday, and 8am-6pm on Saturdays and Sundays.  It is all part of the great relationship that Level 10 and the NSWC have established. Feel free to call / email us anytime to book your first session, or just come by sometime to take a look around.

NSWC HOCKEY

Hockey is HUGE at the NSWC and Level 10 is becoming a fixture in helping develop the tremendous talent that continually flows through the Club.  Steve Williams, who developed an extensive background in Olympic Lifting while playing Varsity Football and Rugby at Wilfrid Laurier University, has jumped on board the staff at Level 10 NSWC and has hit the ground running.  Steve headed up all the Off-Season Hockey Conditioning Programs this Summer and worked extensively with athletes of all ages and sizes, ranging from the 6-8 year old Initiation groups, to the Bantam/Midget Elite Programs, and all the way up to the BCJHL/WHL Young Guns program.  Level 10 is excited to be dramatically increasing the amount and range of Hockey programs at the NSWC this year.  Along with training each of the NSWC Minor Hockey teams, we will be increasing our involvement in the Sr. Mens league, offering group training for those Weekend Warriors. Whether you're looking to "Take Your Game to the Next Level", or just avoid those pesky injuries, drop in on a class and see what it is all about.

NSWC TENNIS

To Direct their Tennis Specific Training Programs Level 10 NSWC recruited Brad Johns, a Regional and National Level Tennis and Badminton player in his native New Zealand.  Brad has been tremendous since joining the Level 10 team, not only through his great work with the Youth Tennis Athletes, but also in helping the Club Pros take their fitness to a new Level, further improving the fantastic teaching program that the NSWC provides.  Level 10 has teamed up with NSWC Tennis and the West Vancouver School District to start a new Tennis Academy for aspiring players.  The program is just beginning its inaugural year and is expecting great things.

NSWC Golf

Starting Spring 2010 Level 10 Fitness will be introducing a golf strength and conditioning program. To direct the program NSWC recruited Mike Waugh, a club champion with 8 years experience working in the golf industry. The purpose of this program is to help golfers take their games to the next level through athletic development. Whether you're looking to obtain a college scholarship, work your way up the men's league standings, or just lower your handicap, level 10 has something for you.

Community sports

Although Hockey and Tennis are the two major programs at the Club, Level 10 NSWC continues the rich tradition of training athletes of all skill levels and ages, from every sport imaginable.  Angela Melville directs the young athlete programs and she works extensively with the many Community and High School teams that utilize the services at Level 10 NSWC.

In the curriculum

Level 10 NSWC has teamed up with Windsor Secondary School to initiate a brand new High Performance Physical Education Program.  Level 10 trainers work with the PE teachers to provide a unique environment to learn life lessons about health and fitness, and to get in great shape while doing so.  Level 10 trainers will visit Windsor 60 times this year to provide instruction to the students and monitor their progress while they follow the periodized programs they have been provided.
